The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector.
The purpose of the awards are to pay tribute to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work — with the finalist of each region deservingly progressing to the national finals.

At our care home in Cambridgeshire, we’re committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. We strive to deliver care with utmost respect, kindness and compassion, ensuring our residents are happy, safe and comfortable.
That’s why we’re delighted to be recognised for our efforts, winning first place in the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Social Care awards’ at the regional Great British Care Awards. This achievement means we’ll now progress to the National finals on the 17th March 2023 at The ICC, Birmingham.
The judges were particularly impressed by the life-changing work we carry out at Askham Rehab, our specialist rehabilitation branch, which supports patients going through what is often the most challenging period of their lives.
Thanks to our talented multidisciplinary team of psychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy, and cutting-edge facilities such as our hydrotherapy pool, we’re setting the benchmark for rehabilitation services in the surrounding area.
We’re also staying on the sharp end of innovation by using cutting edge robotic equipment at our care home in Cambridgeshire.
