Dr Jonathan Hutchins

Neuropsychologist

Dr Jonathan Hutchins is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has 15 years experience of working both within NHS settings and in his own independent practice as a Clinical Director in St Albans. He currently works as a Neuropsychologist at Askham Village Community supporting residents with brain injury and neurological rehabilitation. Dr Hutchins has several years experience of working in neurological rehabilitation on stroke wards and at other sites. Dr Hutchins has extensive experience within mental health settings including inpatient, crisis and community team settings. He will be starting a role in the NHS as the lead for Personality Disorder treatment across the trust in the near future. In addition, Dr Hutchins is an Consultant, Practitioner and Supervisor in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) an evidenced based psychological therapy which is highly effective at addressing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Furthermore, Dr Hutchins is accredited and experienced in providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to address a wide range of complex mental problems including Personality Disorder.
