Residents from Askham Court making some beautiful cards ready for Mother’s Day and for the Spring

On Burns Day, residents prepared some Scottish food (smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber on Scottish oatcakes). They had a quiz all about Scotland and also had to pick from pictures of celebrities which ones were Scottish. The winning team was The Tartan Army

Residents taking part in Valentine crafting and also knitting

Residents cooking some muffins

Women’s rights celebrated at Askham by residents and staff

Some of the funds we raised at the fayres we did were used to bring some stock for the Askham trolley. Staff is supplying free crosswords and word searches, and a free book and magazine library service. This activity is enjoyed by staff and residents
