At Askham Village Community, we would like to show our appreciation for the amazing care workers who go above and beyond the call of duty each day.

We’re proud members of The Care Workers’ Charity, an organisation that enhances the lives of care workers by providing funding, mental health support, professional advice and much more.

There’s no doubt that the care sector has been hit hard by the pandemic – and as frontline care staff, we know just how heartbreaking and exhausting the past couple of years have been.

As part of #GivingTuesday, we’d like to show recognition for all those care workers who have worked tirelessly and selflessly to ensure that those in their care are as comfortable as possible. Unforeseen circumstances have led to care workers across the globe making a multitude of personal and professional sacrifices; and now, as a society, it’s our turn to give back.

We’re passionate about showing our dedicated care team just how much we appreciate their hard work. As a token of our gratitude, we offer a ‘Staff Treats’ package to each of our team members. This involves discounts at leading UK supermarkets (such as Tesco) and household retail brands, including Adidas and Zara. The package gives our team the opportunity to claim up more than 3,000 discounts in total, which also include travel, hospitality and home furnishings.
